Hello!
I am Megan – a half Canadian, half Catalan, hand lettering artist and designer. After 20+ years of living in the UK and Europe, I have recently returned ‘home’ to Vancouver Island in Canada. I have a first class BA (hons) in Design for Moving Image from Ravensbourne College of Design & Communication. After graduating, I worked as a Motion Graphics Designer for some of the best boutique design studios in London.
After picking up modern calligraphy as a hobby, it naturally turned into something much bigger, and I eventually left my job to become a full time, freelance hand lettering artist and stationery designer. Over the past six years, I have collaborated with design studios, events and wedding planners, as well as directly with a host of luxury brands.
I now run my own freelance graphic design studio. My work involves combining a range of skills - animation, graphic design, illustration, and hand lettering. Get in touch if you’d like to chat about working together!
